Join the Lunchbox Brigade

Hey! Did anyone else catch PBS's showing of the movie "Food, Inc." last night? Man was it powerful! And eye opening....and a little (actually a LOT) sickening! Or how about Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution?

Do you wonder why you have gained a lot of weight this past decade? Or are you wondering how you or your parents or kids all seem to be diabetic or borderline diabetic? Are you shopping at big discount grocery stores (>cough< Wal-Mart! >cough<) and feel good about saving money, yet find yourself feeling more tired, even sick lately? Well I do! Wonder that is. As for shopping at "that" store, I am hereby boycotting it, or only purchasing organic food there.

Please join me opening up everyone's eyes to what is going on in this country. Help out in any way you can. If not for yourself, do it for your kids!

Have YOU had a "hot lunch" at a public school lately? Well I have and they are - DISGUSTING. RUBBER CHICKEN nuggets, that are tasteless and are made from God knows what!

Support healthy eating in schools by signing the Child Nutrition Act Reauthorization petition and then sign Jamie Oliver's petition: Jamie would like to take his petition to the White House to show the President and First lady how many people really care and ask for their support.

Then post these banners on your website or social network to encourage your friends and family to do the same. If you care about the health of your children and the food they eat please sign this petition now. It will only take a minute. Then make a point to watch the movie "Food, Inc."and get educated and act, before it's too late.
